Components Of Imaan

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم COMPONENTS OF IMAAN Rasulullah (S.A.W.S) has said “Imaan has more than seventy branches”. The commentators of Bukhari. The most famous collection of ahaadith has summarised the branches of Imaan and written that there are seventy seven branches of complete Imaan in reality and these are in three components : Firstly, we have to confirm seven branches of Imaan by words of mouth i.e. by our tongue. Secondly, we have to confirm thirty branches of Imaan by heart which are concerned with intention, belief and action of heart. Thirdly, we have to confirm forty branches of Imaan by our physical actions which are concerned with all the remaining parts of our body . The most important and best branch of Imaan is recitation by words of mouth – Kalima Tayyaba . لااله الالله محمد رسول الله Laa-i-laha illallahu Muhammadur Rasul-lullah. He said “ like old clothes, Imaan gets worn out, hence keep on renewing it through supplication to Almighty Allah. The least of Imaan is...

SIXTH POINT- DA’WAA AND TABLIG

Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala says: قل هده سبيلى ادعوا الى الله على بصيره انا ومن اتبعنى “O Muhammad ! Tell (the people that) this is my path (Tarika/work) to invite the people towards Allah Ta’ala knowingly, I and my followers too. (Yousuf-108) The sole purpose of Rasulullah (S.A.S)’ life was to call mankind towards Allah and show them right path of Zannat. The aim of our lives is the same, Tablige i.e. to do the work of dawaa. Moreover, we, being the ordinary people, have to rectify our Imaan and A’mal and encourage other Muslims so that they may also start rectifying their Imaan and A’mal. Allah Ta`barak Ta`ala says: يا يهاالدين امنوا تقوالله و قولو قولا سديدا * يصلح لكم اعمالكم و يغفر لكم دنوبكم ومن يطع الله و رسوله فقد فارعظيما* “O the believers, be afraid of Allah Ta`ala and tell the truth (Kalima Laa-i-laha illallah) He will rectify your A`mals, forgive your all sins and whosoever follows Allah and His Rasul (SAWS) he will, surely, be most successful (Ahzab-70-71) The second ai...

FIFTH POINT – IKHLAS-IN-NIYAAT

Ikhlas-i-Niyaat is also called the “correction of intention. Ikhlas-in-Niyaat is to do any good deed purely to please Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala. The aim of Ikhlas-in-Niyaat is to observe sincerity in all our religious beliefs and actions so that Allah gives us rewards in Akhirat. Allah Rabbul Aalamin accepts only those deeds of his servants which are purely based on complete Sincerity to him. Whoever performs prayers or observes fasts, or gives alms for show ; he becomes guilty of false E-badat. He will get no rewards rather punishment. “All the deeds of men will be gathered together before Allah on the Day of Judgment out of them only the deeds which are purely done for Allah, will be separated and the rest will be thrown into Zahannam. Benefits · If anybody does a small good deed to please Allah then Allah will give him rewards like the mountain, Wahud (largest mountain in Arabia). · Sincere intention is better than action. · Actions and deeds are accounted accordi...

FOURTH POINT – IKRAM-I-MUSLIM

Ikram-i-Muslim is to respect the Muslim as a whole because of Imaan. The aim of Ikram-i-Muslim is suppressing own needs for fulfilling the needs of others, specially the needs of own parents. Rasulullah (S.A.S) says that the parents are the doors of Zannat for their sons. If anybody likes, he may keep the doors open by khidmat and fulfilling the needs of his parents, otherwise the doors will be closed. Rasulullah (S.A.S) says, “He is not among my followers, who does not respect our elders, is not merciful to our youngsters and does not pay due reverence to our scholars. Benefits of IKRAM-I-MUSLIM · If anybody tries with Niyaat, to fulfill a need of a Muslim, Allah then gives him rewards of doing 10 years nafl Itiquaf. · If anybody fulfills a need of a Muslim, Allah Ta’ala will fulfill his 73 needs, one in this Duniya and 72 in Akhirat. · Hadith: “None of you is a believer unless he likes for his brother what he likes for himself.” · A Muslim has fi...

THIRD POINT- ILM AND ZIKR

Ilm means Knowledge- especially knowledge about Deen-I-Islam. The source of Ilm is the Holy Quran and Hadith of Rasulullah (S.A.S). The aim of ilm is to know the commands of Allah subhanahu Ta’ala spending for our 24 hours daily lives and to obey the same in the Tarika (method) of Rasulullah (S.A.S). So that everybody may be successful in Duniya and Akhirat. Useful Ilm Ilm is of two kinds, one which remains on the tongue only and does not affect the heart. It would be a cause for questioning on the Day of kiyamat. The other which penetrates into the heart, revives the spiritual spirit, purify hearts and enlighten the brain that is indeed useful Ilm. Benifits / Virtues of Ilm. According to one Hadith, “Learning Ilm just for the pleasure of Allah is a proof of the fear of Allah, travelling in search of it is E-badat, memorising it is like glorifying Allah, making research in it is like Jihad, reading it is like and charity teaching it to one’s member of family, promotes nearness ...

SECOND POINT - SALAAT (Prayer)

The first and most important among the commandments of Allah Tabarak Ta’ala is SALAAT. (E-badat). Some are enquired the Holy Prophet, “Rasulullah (S.A.S), Which act (of man) is dearest to Allah?” Rasulullah (S.A.S) replied: Firstly Salaat, Secondly Kindness of Parents and Thirdly Jihaad. Salaat is the best E-badat after Imaan. · Salaat is the mark of Islam. · Salaat is the Pillar of islam and light of Mo’men. · It is the key of Zannat. · A person in sajdah becomes nearest to Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala. · Allah likes most the posture of a man when he is in sajdah, pressing his forehead on the ground in humility. Aim of Salaat The aim of salaat is to obey Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala for his pleaser and highest satisfaction. Ibn Sereen writes that “if I be allowed to choose between Zannat and Salaat of two rakaats, I would prefer Salaat. Because Zannat is for my own pleasure while Salaat is for the pleaser and satisfaction of my dear Lord, Almighty Allah...

FIRST POINT – IS IMAAN

The first and most imortant in Deen-i-Islam is “Imaan” i.e. strong belief in oneness of Allah Tabarak Ta’ala and His sovereign power. That the kalima (sentence) of Imaan is لااله الالله محمد رسول الله “Laa-ila-ha illallaho Muhammadur Rasulullah”. This is a declaration with firm belief that “None is worthy of E-badat except Allah Tabarak Ta’ala Muhammadur Rasulullah is his prophet (messenger)”. Allah Tabarak Ta’ala is Khalique (creator) and all other, whatever we see or do not see are Makhluque (creation) of Allah. Allah got supreme power over the Makhluque. Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala can do whatever he likes but Makhluque can do nothing without Allah Ta’ala. Fire did not burn Ibrahim Alayhi Sallam, Knife did not cut Ismail Alayhisallam. 2ndly, Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala is free from Sharik (Partner). Rasulullah (S.A.S) said, “Do E-badat of Allah only, and do not ascribe any partner to him, be sincere in all your actions as if you are standing before almighty Allah and consider yourself...

Amma Ba’ad : - All praise be to Allah Tabarak Ta’ala who has created us and given us the power of Bayan (expression) revealed Holly Quran, which is the source of hedayat, guidance, healing and mercy for those who have faith. In a hadith, it is narrated that anybody who keeps him sitting in the Masjid (the best place in this Duniya) (with wadu of course) after salaat is over. Malaiyeka (angle) prays to Allah for his forgiveness and mercy. Again, as long as he keeps him sitting in the Masjid, and waiting for Salaat, he earns the rewards as if he is busy in Salaat. So, my dear brothers, we are now in great valuable rewards. My dear brothers a...
